  The Luau, again, deserves a column. A truly wonderful party, music and entertainment by Joey Royal and the Tropical Breezes Hula Dancers from the Royal Time Party DJs, who were delightful themselves and involved the attending audience in numerous numbers, including Joe LoGalbo's identity crisis (poor fellow thought he was Elvis.)

A magnificent meal of roast pork (Jean Wirtz), beans, (Helen Snedeker) red potatoes - the Tberiault Twins, Mabel Smith and others whose name the poor Scribe doesn't have as midnight approaches (Mad, where are you?), and tropical fruit. In brief, another triumph for Joey Royal and his inspired troops, and a night filled with fun, laughter, good food and drink and a warm sense of the wonderful people we have in South Gate and how they know how to live.
